The Task Team gathered at Penkford Bridge, Newton-le-Willows, on Saturday 25th October 2025, to clear self-seeded saplings and tidy the overflow area. The work revealed the historic structure underneath, and it was fantastic to see everyone enjoying the fresh air while making a real difference to the canal corridor.

Gloves, tools, and good company made for a productive and enjoyable day.
